Kenshi Manabe (Chief Technology Officer bei Sony Computer Entertainment) hat laut dem Electric Journal auf der "4th IC Packaging Technology Expo" bestätigt, dass die Playstation 3 im Jahr 2005 in Japan auf den Markt kommen wird.
